The Coral Triangle is home to thousands of species of fish, endangered turtles. More than three quarters of all the coral species in the world can be found in these waters. No wonder it is dubbed “The Amazon of the Sea”. Your first stop is Daram Island, where you enjoy at least three world-class dive sites and with every dip you are regaled to a marvellous cornucopia, a parade of colours and life that you thought impossible. It doesn’t hurt to chase the afternoon away water skiing and kayaking pleasurably as the stars begin to rise in the east sky.
In Fiabacet you go underwater for a dream spectacle of colour and synchrony. In Wayil you enjoy a pristine beach that can only be accessed by small vessel. You relax while the crew harvests coconuts for later in the day, when you set sail for Farondi. There, after you dive in an intricate coral labyrinth of caves and overhangs, the crew shows you a hidden freshwater lagoon where you can snorkel with stingless jellyfish. In the clear waters of Penemu, you enjoy the best snorkelling, and the whole wonder of the underwater world plays before your eyes.
In Wayag you venture inland, in Airborei you go to small villages with wonderful handcrafts. In tree-covered Gam you get into the culture and enjoy the perfect snorkelling conditions with the children of the village. That evening, after a delicious dinner on your yacht, you are faced with the infinite night sky with its millions of stars. Tomorrow you will wake up back in Sorong, where you will take your flight back to Jakarta. After these miraculous days, you have to admit to yourself that you are quite changed. You have the light demeanour of those who have glimpsed Heaven.
