





Arrive at Luang Prabang where you will meet Francis Engelmann, a long time resident of the city and scholar/celebrity. He will share his knowledge of the city’s architecture and history, revealing the secrets of this gem and giving you access to palaces, archives and historical sites usually unknown to visitors.
Mrs Noy is your guide for the day. You will meet her early in a local market where you will hunt for the freshest ingredients and delicacies. She will then take you to her home and in her kitchen, she will demonstrate the secrets of Laotian cuisine. After lunch, she will introduce you to her neighbours and together you will go for a walk around the village. Then you will embark on a boat ride back to Luang Prabang. While waterborne, you can sip Laotian rice whiskey for a delicious sundowner.
Board a luxury cruise in Luang Prabang and then sail to Ban Dan. Walk in the village and interact with the locals and then go for a trek in the jungle. Moor overnight.
Sail to Pak Out. Nearby, there are two magnificent caves that overlook the Mekong. Inside, you will find hundreds of wood-carved figurines of the Buddha in a variety of positions. Continue to Ban Baw where you will moor overnight.
Start the morning with Buddhist meditation on the sun deck. Visit Pak Beng temple and reach Ban Houy Phalam where you will find some of the finest Lao weaving.
Start the day with a yoga session on the sun deck. Follow the Mekong to Thailand. Upon arrival in Chiang Khong, you can continue your journey across Southeast Asia.
