Picture yourself: a culinary game of multiple identities

Photographer Margot Errante and Chef Andrea Oschetti explored personality and identity at the Travel Salon

2015-12-01 · The Travel Salon, 20D, Yally Building, Wong Chuk Hang

A delectable 4-course menu was prepared in the Travel Salon private kitchen inspired by 4 personality types. Inside the eclectic space filled with artifacts from far-flung travels, guests chose their personality, which was then paired with wine. During the intimate dinner, Margot Errante , a Hong Kong-based Italian photographer, whisked guests away for a professional portrait in a private studio set up next door. At the end of the evening, all guests received a digital copy of their portrait. The feast was not just for the tastebuds, but a visual play on identities and personalities. What you see isn’t always what you get. Be curious. Everyone has their own personality traits, interests and desires, which should also affect they way we travel. Where you go and what you seek depends on who you are and what you need. This is the art of travel .
