The boats are a magnificent way to get around the Greenland coast. You visit an Inuit community and learn firsthand of their survival techniques and test yourself at fishing char… with your bare hands. That is the traditional way, and despite being so much fun, it takes some time to master. You resort to other methods and enjoy your catch by the fire, as you share with the campers and share stories under the stars.
Camp life is peaceful yet adventurous. As you begin to reconnect with nature, you become aware of the simple pace that permeates the outdoors. A hike to the mountains is like a trip within your trip, because small things become more meaningful the more you are exposed to Greenland. You hop on the boat and go to explore the fjords and a world of ice. It is inhospitable but a place to marvel at. What strange divines live here?
The long days are full of delicious food, great company and adventures around the camp. As you kayak in the clear waters of an endless sunset, and gaze at the tents from afar, you feel at home, here, in the remoteness of the Arctic.
